Massachusetts residents with a limited income may qualify to receive a CapTel 840PLUS or CapTel 840i telephone through the state’s equipment distribution program, MassEDP, which helps provide telephone equipment to people who have hearing loss. People who cannot hear over the phone may be eligible to receive an Internet-based CapTel phone at no cost. Requires high-speed Internet access and, in some cases, dial-tone telephone service.
