There are 3 options to get a CapTel phone:

OPTION 1:

Apply through your State’s Equipment Program

Georgia Telecommunications Equipment Distribution Program (TEDP)

Georgia residents may be eligible to receive a CapTel phone at no charge through the Georgia Telecommunications Equipment Distribution Program (TEDP), which provides financially and medically qualified applicants with specialized telecommunications equipment, training and warranty repair services.

OPTION 3:

Qualify for a CapTel Phone at No Cost

People who cannot hear over the phone may be eligible to receive an Internet-based CapTel phone at no cost.  Requires high-speed Internet access and, in some cases, dial-tone telephone service.
