Some people might assume that technology like captioned telephones for hearing loss can be expensive. Rest assured, that isn’t the case! Currently, you can purchase any of our models for $75.

There are a number of different models
If you want to get a CapTel phone for hearing loss, you aren’t limited to a single option. Right now, we have four different models of captioned telephones for hearing loss. The phones are low vision-friendly
All of our models have adjustable font sizes and colors, so you can use whatever settings are easiest for you to see. The CapTel 880i model also has extra-large font sizes and a large display screen to assist in reading captions.
Captions can be turned off
You may not need or want captions for every single call. In that case, you can turn captions on or off at any point during your call with a simple press of the Captions button!
You can change the tone frequency
Volume isn’t the only relevant factor in how well we hear a call (although CapTel volume is adjustable up to 40dB!). For many people with hearing loss, certain tones and frequencies are easier to hear. All our phones allow you to change the sound to a low, medium, or high frequency. With the CapTel 2400i, you get even more control — you can customize the tone settings to match your personal audiogram!
All phones have a built-in answering machine
There’s no need to buy a separate machine or worry about uncaptioned messages when you have a CapTel phone. All CapTel phones have built-in answering machines that allow you to read your messages with captions.
They’re hearing aid-compatible
Since some captioned telephone users may also choose to use hearing aids, it’s important for these two technologies to work together. Our phones can sync with certain models of hearing aids to funnel sound right to your ears, making it easier to understand the call with or without captions.
