CapTel 2400i is a phone for hearing loss that provides captions of everything your caller says.
CapTel 2400i

The CapTel 2400i is the latest captioned phone for hearing loss. Featuring touch-screen technology and a large and easy-to-read display, you can be confident that you’ll never miss a word. You can customize the tone control to meet your own hearing loss. You can also adjust the color and size of the font to suit your reading preferences. As with all CapTel models, the built-in answering machine provides captions of voicemail messages, so you can catch important information even when you can’t make it to the phone. CapTel 2400i equipment needed:
High-speed Internet
CapTel 2400i connects to the Internet via a wireless connection through your WiFi network or through an ethernet cable. The high-speed Internet connection provides the captions during your calls.

Telephone service
CapTel 2400i requires telephone service (standard dial tone) in order to make and receive calls. The telephone service may be analog, VoIP, fiber optic, DSL or digital cable service; whichever is readily available and affordable in your area. Note: CapTel 2400i is not compatible with PBX business systems unless an analog port is available.

Standard electrical power
Standard electrical power is required for all CapTel hearing loss telephones. Just plug into a standard wall outlet, and your captioned phone is powered up and ready to go!

CapTel 880i

CapTel 880i is a phone for hearing loss that provides captions of everything your caller says.
CapTel 880i

CapTel 880i is designed specifically for people with low vision. It offers extra-large font sizes and display options for captions, giving you the confidence to know you will be able to see every word during your calls. CapTel 880i is also WiFi compatible, has a built-in phonebook and answering machine, speed dial buttons, and tone control for optimal sound quality. High-speed Internet:
Like other CapTel Internet-based models, CapTel 880i connects to the Internet via wireless connection through your WiFi or via an ethernet cable.

Telephone service
The CapTel 880i requires telephone service (standard dial tone) through a variety of methods, including VoIP, DSL, fiber optic, analog, or digital cable service. It is not compatible with PBX phone systems unless an analog port is available.

Standard electrical power
Standard electrical power gives your new captioned phone for hearing loss the “juice” it needs to provide you with both voice and captions during your calls.

CapTel 840i

CapTel 840i is a phone for hearing loss that provides captions of everything your caller says.
CapTel 840i

CapTel 840i is a captioned hearing loss telephone with a large screen for displaying written captions of your conversation. Like other models, you can read the captions while listening to your caller, to make sure you catch every word. You can adjust the sound quality and volume, and also adjust the size and color of the captions to make them easiest for you to read. The CapTel 840i also includes a built-in answering machine and phonebook, which holds over 95 names and numbers.

High-speed Internet
The CapTel 840i requires high-speed Internet access using a DSL or Digital Cable Modem. It can connect directly to your home network via a wireless connection to a WiFi network or with an ethernet cable.

Telephone service
CapTel 840i requires telephone service (standard dial tone) via an analog line, VoIP, fiber optics, digital cable service, or DSL with filter. CapTel 840i cannot be used with private branch exchange (PBX) office phone systems unless an analog port is available.

Electrical power
Just plug CapTel 940i into a standard wall outlet to power up your hearing loss phone.

CapTel 840 is a phone for hearing loss that provides captions of everything your caller says.
CapTel 840

CapTel 840 is a hearing loss phone with captions that we recommend for users who do not have a high-speed Internet connection available. With CapTel 840, in order to activate the captions, incoming callers dial the captioning service first, then enter your phone number. All outgoing calls automatically connect to the captioning service. CapTel 840 also offers adjustable font sizes and colors so you can customize the captions based on your preferences. CapTel 840 equipment needed:
Analog telephone line
The CapTel 840 requires an analog connection to a telephone service to provide captions. It is not compatible with PBX systems, VoIP, or digital cable telephone services. DSL is only supported with a filter.

Standard electrical power
Connect CapTel 840 to the nearest wall outlet, and your new phone for hearing loss is ready to use.
