In spring and fall of each year, the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) holds Walk4Hearing events in cities across the country. Hearing Charities of America established a national fund that aims to increase awareness about hearing health in communities around the U.S. Through local CELEBRATE SOUND Don’t Walk in Silence events, they raise money to fund hearing health-related projects, continuing education for hearing loss professionals, hearing loss prevention programs, charitable activities, and hearing health nonprofits.
